Rob from RJ Fab Gets the Full Kryptonite Front End Treatment | Here's What He Thought.

We recently welcomed Rob from RJ Fab to the Kryptonite facility for a full shop tour — and while he was here, we installed a full set of Kryptonite components on his 2022 GMC Denali Duramax. Upper control arms, centerlink, tie rods, ball joints, idler side package, and pitman arm. Every major front end component, done right. What followed was one of the most genuine product reviews we could ask for.

What was installed on Rob's Denali Duramax:

First impressions from the shop floor

Rob didn't hold back during the tour. Seeing how every component is designed and built gave him a firsthand look at what separates Kryptonite from factory alternatives. For someone who spends his days fabricating and working on trucks professionally, the craftsmanship stood out immediately.

"Everything is the quality, well built, easy to install, excellent instructions."

The tie rod difference

If there's one component Rob couldn't stop talking about, it was the tie rod ends. The difference between a Kryptonite tie rod and a factory unit isn't subtle — it's immediately visible and immediately felt. Our tie rod ends 99% thicker than the factory parts, and on a heavy-duty diesel like the Duramax, that extra beef matters.

"Tie rod ends are one of the biggest differences you'll notice — 3x as thick as a factory tie rod."

Built to last, not just to perform

Rob made an important distinction that resonates with serious truck owners: factory components can get the job done...for a while. But on a truck like the his, which is built to work hard and go far, longevity isn't optional. That's where Kryptonite pays for itself.

"You may achieve the same results with stock stuff, but you won't get the longevity."

Peace of mind, built in

At the end of the day, upgrading your steering and suspension components isn't just about specs. It's about getting in your truck and knowing everything underneath is built to handle whatever comes next, whether that's loaded highway miles, a worksite, or the weekend trail. Rob summed it up perfectly:

"The peace of mind and confidence knowing you've improved your truck that much more."

We're grateful to Rob for making the trip out and for trusting Kryptonite with his Denali. If you're ready to upgrade your 2020+ GM HD, our components cover everything, so you're not leaving any weak links behind.
