Kryptonite is where it is at for American suspension and steering parts in the HD truck or side by side world. I recently installed the Kryptonite upper control arms, center-link, and tie rod assemblies into my 2014 2500HD Silverado. The craftsmanship is exceptional, the packaging to get these heavy parts across the country - exceptional (THANK YOU!!!), and the expected ease of installation and performance - exceptional. The heavy center link and tie rods have taken the slop out of my Silverado's steering offroad and on washboard, with thoughtful engineering to achieve that. The upper control arms use engineering that only people who care and use the product themselves with HD lifted trucks towing and driving trails for work and daily life would care to put into the product with the designed control arm angles, greaseable (and easily replaceable) bushings and with customizable ball join install locations (above or below the mounting plate depending on current suspension/axle angles). The quality of the welds and coating are exceptional. The final note is that their install instruction sheet is well done and of high quality, like everything else going on here. They even go to the point of putting what alignment values are suitable for the parts into the instruction sheet. My shop had an easy time getting the truck's alignment to happy camber, caster, and tow numbers, and I now have about 1000 miles on the full steering/suspension rebuild - it's performing stellar with a massive increase in performance over OEM, Mevotech, etc.

Do the control arms come disassembled? With the ball joint and bushings out? I want to have them powder coated before install.

Fit 1500?
No, the KRUCA11 upper control arms are designed specifically for 2011–2019 Chevrolet and GMC 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. They will not fit a 1500.
For 1500 models, the correct upper control arms would be KRUCA12, KRUCA13, or KRUCA19, depending on the year of your truck.
