What is MAP Pricing?

MAP Pricing is a policy that sets the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) for Kryptonite Products’ branded heavy-duty steering and suspension products. This is also the Minimum Resale Price.

What is the Retail Price (MSRP)?

The Retail Price (MSRP) for our products is the list price, which can be found on our dealer price sheet or at kryptoniteproducts.com.

What is the MAP Price?

The MAP Price is always 5% less than the Retail Price (MSRP). MAP pricing can be found on our dealer price sheet or at kryptoniteproducts.com/pages/map-policy .

How can the MAP Pricing Policy be violated?

If a dealer sells a Kryptonite product below the MAP Price, they are in violation of the Pricing Policy.

What discounts can a dealer provide?

Dealers may offer free shipping or installation to consumers.

Can a dealer sell an open box at a discounted price?

Selling any product below the MAP Price, including open-box or returned items, is a violation of the Pricing Policy.

What discounts are not allowed?

Any discount that results in a net-realized price below MAP is prohibited. This includes (but is not limited to):

• Percentage discounts off MSRP
• Coupons for future purchases
• Instant or mail-in rebates
• Free gift cards or incentives

Is dropshipping available?

Yes. Dropshipping is available through our Dealer Portal at no additional dropship fee. Orders placed via email or phone will incur a mandatory $10 dropship fee plus current carrier rates. No free shipping or third-party shipping accounts are permitted.

Are bulk stocking order options available?

Yes. Bulk orders at or above $10,000 qualify for a flat $1,000 shipping fee within the Lower 48 states. Orders under $10,000 will be charged current LTL shipping rates. Exclusions may apply outside the domestic U.S.

Are order cancellations accepted?

Yes. Dealers are encouraged to accept canceled dropship orders into their inventory. Cancellation rates exceeding 10% within any 90-day period will result in the loss of one Dealer Level tier.

Is selling on Amazon and other marketplaces allowed?

Only selected dealers with express written consent may sell on Amazon or eBay, and only at no less than MSRP. Walmart and other marketplaces are strictly prohibited.

How does a dealer become authorized?

Any seller must be authorized by Kryptonite Products or warranty coverage will be void. Dealers must complete the authorized reseller application:

What is the Jobber Price?

The Jobber Price is the price at which one authorized reseller may sell to another authorized reseller. It is 20% less than MSRP and it is up to the Dealers discretion where they set their own resale prices. 

Maximum Wholesale Distributor Discount

The maximum discount a Wholesale Distributor may offer without violating policy is Jobber Price (20% off MSRP).

Do dealers need to sign the new Pricing Policy?

No. This is a unilateral policy. Dealers must comply, withdraw, or face penalties.

Penalties for Violation

• First Offense: Warning
• Second Offense: Loss of dealer status for one month
• Third Offense: Termination

Products sold below MAP will not carry warranty coverage for the end user.

Additional Policy Terms

Net Adjusted Price

The net adjusted price is the lowest price offered or paid after all discounts, rebates, promotions, and incentives are applied.

Inventory Repurchase & Returns

Kryptonite Products reserves the right to repurchase inventory from violators at dealer cost minus a 15% restocking fee. Inventory returns over 30 days old require written approval and may be refused.

Dealer Pricing Levels

• Dealer Level 1 – Up to 15% off MSRP
• Dealer Level 2 – Up to 20% off MSRP (after $25,000 spend)
• Dealer Level 3 – Up to 25% off MSRP (after $50,000 spend)
• Max Dealer – Up to 30% off MSRP (after $75,000 spend)
• Wholesale Distributor – Up to 35% off MSRP (after $100,000 spend)

Policy Modifications

Kryptonite Products reserves the right to modify or rescind this policy at any time without notice.
