Providing unmatched suspension performance are FOX Performance Elite 2.5 DSC remote reservoir shocks. Built around a large 2.5-inch aluminum shock body with external remote reservoirs, these shocks offer substantially increased oil capacity for superior heat dissipation and fade resistance during extended towing, high-speed travel, and demanding off-road use. FOX’s Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen chamber to maintain consistent damping performance, while the Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters allow independent tuning of low-speed and high-speed compression damping. 2.5” vs 3.5” Lift Explained
Ford changed the factory ride height of the Super Duty platform starting in 2020, lowering the front suspension approximately 1” compared to 2005-2019 trucks. Because of this, the exact same Kryptonite leveling spring will produce different lift heights depending on model year.
No changes were made to the spring itself, the newer trucks simply start from a lower factory ride height.
2020+ Tremor models already include a factory lifted suspension package and sit approximately 2” taller than a standard Super Duty from the factory. On Tremor-equipped trucks, these springs will provide approximately 1.5” of additional front lift.
