Description:
The Kryptonite Death Grip Complete Steering Kit is a complete heavy-duty replacement for the factory tie rod and drag link on 2014–2026 Ram 2500 and 2013–2026 Ram 3500 4X4 trucks. Engineered to eliminate the weak points and unwanted deflection of the factory steering linkage, this system delivers a substantial increase in strength, rigidity, and steering confidence.
At the core of the system are massive solid 2” hex center bodies machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. Unlike the factory hollow tube-style construction, Kryptonite’s solid center bodies provide considerably greater strength and resistance to bending while taking advantage of the exceptional strength-to-weight characteristics of 7075-T6 aluminum.
The center bodies are paired with oversized heavy-duty rod ends featuring forged 4140 chromoly ball studs and rugged metal-to-metal bearing surfaces. Each joint is greaseable for long-term durability under demanding towing, work, daily driving, and off-road conditions.
Kryptonite’s Death Grip Tapered Jam Nut System securely locks the assemblies in position, helping prevent unwanted movement and maintaining proper adjustment under severe loads. The complete system reduces steering linkage deflection and delivers tighter tracking, more predictable steering response, and a more positive connection between the steering wheel and front tires.
