The 2027 GM HD platform brings one of the biggest changes to GM heavy-duty steering in years. Chevrolet has replaced the previous steering architecture with a new electrically assisted rack-and-pinion steering system, and Kryptonite is already developing the steering upgrade to match.
Introducing the upcoming Kryptonite 3-Piece Tie Rod Upgrade, engineered specifically around the new rack-and-pinion steering system found on 2027 Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks. This isn’t an adaptation of a previous-generation tie rod. It’s a new design built specifically for the next generation of GM HD steering.
