To be honest, it's been a nightmare. I have a 2006 GMC Sierra with a pro comp lift that was installed when I bought the truck new. I've only used OEM and everything's been fine I decided to go with the kryptonite for something tougher that would last longer and we've had nothing but issues with the alignment, the idler arm could not be used so we had to go with a stock idler arm because it kept getting bound up and it was all over the road. We realize that the upper control arm ball joint was installed from the top and it was supposed to be installed from the bottom so we corrected that.
Everything's pretty much OK now but I still have a diminished turning radius and I don't know what that's about.
We've gotten some conflicting information from tech-support. One person says that the equipment is not meant for a pro comp lift and then another one said it was. What do you guys think? Any suggestions about why the idler arm didn't work or why the steering is diminished?
Would it be better if I got a rough country lift? Thank you for your time
