Important fitment details:

  • Direct replacement for Kryptonite KRUCA99, KRUCA12 & KRUCA19 Upper Control Arms.
  • Compatible anywhere a Moog K6136 ball joint is specified.
  • For 2007-2018 trucks, these ball joints only fit where cast steel control arms were originally equipped. They will NOT fit stamped steel or aluminum factory control arms. See image below for identification.

  • Greaseable By Design – Apply 4–6 pumps during installation, then maintain with approximately 1-2 pumps every 5,000–7,000 miles. Designed to purge contaminants without overfilling the boot.
  • Corrosion-Resistant Finishes – Black E-coat housing with a gold zinc-plated cap for long-term corrosion protection and a premium appearance.

Whether you’re servicing your Kryptonite KRUCA99, KRUCA12, or KRUCA19 Upper Control Arms or replacing a worn ball joint in another aftermarket suspension system, this heavy-duty bolt-in ball joint is built to handle far more abuse than conventional replacements.

Designed around the industry-standard Moog K6136 mounting pattern, it is a direct replacement for the Kryptonite control arm kits listed above and many aftermarket upper control arms from Cognito, CST, FTS, Fabtech, and other manufacturers using a bolt-in upper ball joint. 

A massive ball stud provides exceptional strength while allowing increased articulation for leveled and lifted trucks. The thick heavy-duty rubber boot keeps contaminants out, while Kryptonite’s exclusive grease relief port makes routine maintenance simple and helps extend service life.
